TWA STORY
Recovery is a strange thing — it strips away distraction and forces honesty. For Anjali, a serious accident became the moment sport stopped being something she did and became something she needed — physically and mentally. The stillness of recovery gave her something training never had — time to go deeper. She spent it reading about athlete psychology and mental toughness, which would later shape the way TWA thinks about coaching the whole person.
For Nihal, the path stayed closer to the track. Consistent training, real results — but gaps that quietly accumulated. Mobility that undermined race performance. Fuelling that left energy on the table in the final miles. Strength work that kept getting postponed until the body made it non-negotiable. Not catastrophic mistakes. The slow, expensive kind — the ones you only understand after paying for them on a finish line somewhere.
We’d both paid that price. And when we looked back at what those experiences had taught us, we kept arriving at the same place — athletes weren’t struggling because they lacked ability or drive. The knowledge and guidance simply weren’t there. We’d faced those gaps ourselves. We just wanted others to find the answers a little sooner than we did.
That’s what TWA is. Lived experience, hard lessons, and a genuine belief that the athlete who trains, fuels, recovers and shows up mentally prepared is capable of far more than the one who only ever worked on fitness. We don’t promise a straight road. We do promise that whatever you’re going through, we’ve probably been through something like it — and we’ll help you figure out what comes next.
